Stunning image of Taranaki reflected in the perfectly still waters of Pouakai tarn. This photo was taken just before sunset with the rich colours of the evening sun lighting up the tussuck and the mountain. It's not often that the water here becomes so still producing such a clear reflection. Unbelievably, some children staying in Pouakai hut turned up and splashed in the tarn before their parents arrived and told them off. I had to wait another 30 minutes for the ripples to die out and take this photo.
Framing & Mounting: This image can be purchased printed on either stretched canvas or on aluminium using the Chromaluxe dye sublimation process. We recommend aluminium prints due to their high definition, vibrant colours and superior fade, moisture, stain, and scratch resistant properties. The print is supplied ready to hang.
