Too many of us have learnt to survive by putting up a mask that we hide behind, protecting our vulnerabillities from society. But this same mask that makes us feel so secure also cuts off our connection with the natural world and inhibits the free flow of love into our lives. The mask becomes a prison that we seem unable to escape from. Yet there are always crack in every prison wall through which beauty can reach us and the more we let ourselves become a ware of teh beauty the more we open ourselves up until the ocean, love itself, breaks through and reclaims us bringing our soul back into communion with existence.
These photos were taken on the Taranaki coastline about an hours walk north from Bell Block beach.
